镇海：一个东南海防卫所的社会变迁

Abstract

卫所是古代中国创设的特殊军事制度。明代初期，鉴于海寇猖獗，开始在各州县治以外的沿海一带广设卫所。由于来自不同地区的军人携带家属同赴卫所聚居，寓兵于农，使得驻防地形成独具色彩的文化地理单位。 本文结合文献资料与田野调查，从历史文献记录和本地人的意识出发，对福建东南沿海的镇海卫古城展开细致研究。作为明代中国的四大卫城之一，镇海卫不仅曾经在中国东南的海防上扮演十分重要的角色，而且发展成为区域性的政治文化中心。虽然清朝初期裁撤卫所，镇海卫改隶漳州府漳浦县，独立军事单位的性质不复存在，但其对地域社会产生的深远影响一直持续至今。文章考察镇海卫古城600多年的历史发展和社会变迁中，国家与社会关系发生的变化...
