Abstract
作为最原始的多细胞生物,海绵(多孔动物门,Porifera)已经在地球上生存了至少6亿年。自出现以来,海绵一直在生态系统方面扮演重要角色。近年来,海绵作为具有生物活性海洋天然产物的主要来源得到了广泛研究。此外,海绵骨针的特性及其生长机制和生物矿化过程也是研究热点。人们普遍认为海绵是现存最古老的多细胞种系,因此它在多细胞分化研究中的地位举足轻重。虽然海绵可被利用的价值如此之高,但是关于海绵的基础研究依然非常薄弱。 随着测序技术的迅猛发展,转录组作为一种有力的研究手段,已被广泛地运用到数以千计个物种的研究中。目前关于海绵转录组的研究有两篇报道,它们关注的焦点均是找出一批与海绵生活史相关的基因。转...
