dc.description.abstractA simple one-step procedure has been developed for the preparation of the surface-supported metal-organic coordination polymer (MOCP) monolayers. The MOCPs consisting of copper ions and 2,5-dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) ligands were directly synthesized on the preheated Au(111) surfaces from aqueous solutions. The as-prepared MOCP monolayers were characterized by STM combined with a theoretical simulation of the organic ligands.zh_CN
