Chinese women's culture: From tradition to modernization
- 人文学院－已发表论文
The new women's culture of China has experienced two important historical processes. First, with the assistance of male allies, it has attempted to change the established status and position of females in traditional culture, and, second, it has attempted to gain a deeper understanding of and to shake off the omnipresent state of male rights in terms of their self formation and self-existence. The latter process has currently landed the new women's culture in a dilemma similar to that of an army fighting a lone battle.
