State change based generalized cost and flow assignment model on multimodal network with transfer Hub

In order to analyze transfer behavior of the passenger inside the transfer hub when traveling on the multimodal transportation network, transfer state changes inside the hub were studied to formulate the generalized path cost between origin-destination pairs. A SUE passenger flow assignment model based on the generalized cost was built by considering congestion effect caused by the transfer volumes inside the hubs and the passenger volume on the links outside the hubs. A numerical example was employed to validate the performance of the proposed model. ? 2011 ASCE.
