科学说明相关性问题及其解答

Abstract

科学说明问题在二十世纪表现为属于不同哲学和文化背景的两种范式的对立和争论。以亨普尔为代表的逻辑实证主义者从近代科学和哲学传统出发，坚持科学知识的客观必然性和普遍有效性，探究存在于一切科学说明过程中的普遍特征，试图发现适用于一切科学说明的普遍有效模型。为此，亨普尔提出了科学说明的覆盖律模型。这一说明模型基于形式逻辑的演绎方法，把对所有现象（自然和社会）的解释都看成是从一般到特殊的逻辑演绎的客观和必然性关系的说明和预测，说明和预测同构。但是，这种基于形式逻辑对科学说明过程的静态分析并不能彻底囊括说明的一切特征，也并不能完全真实反映科学说明的全部过程。其中，最根本的问题是说明和预测的不对称以及不相关...
