Simulation of Multivariable On-off Temperature Control System in Beel Fermentation Process

［中文文摘］针对啤酒发酵过程温度控制的特点,在因素空间理论基础上提出一种全新的开关(Bang Bang)控制算法,并结合Smith预估搜寻算法,对啤酒发酵降温模型进行了仿真试验,控制精度高于常规 PID控制.计算量小,鲁棒性好,自适应性强,具有广泛的工业应用前景.［英文文摘］Beer fermentation process is a multivariable coupling system with large time constant and large delay time.To ensure the quality of beer,the fermentation temperature is demanded to be controlled within the range of ±0.5℃,but it’s difficult to be done.On the other hand,most Beer fermentation temperature control system in recent reports were continuous control system using the servo valve.But most factories in our country would like to use the on-off valve because it is cheaper than the servo valve.So the Ban－Bang control is more suitable for the fermentation temperature control. However the research about Bang2Bang controller is few in the internal and overseas publication. This paper introduces a new Bang-Bang control algorithm based on the factor space. Variable weight is used to determine the switch time and avoid the shake of controller. It is not necessary to adjust the control parameter ,so it’s easy to be realized. To deal with the delay time in control system ,conventional Smith predictor is commonly regarded as an effective method ,but the robustness of conventional Smith predictors is poor. So a Smith searching predictor is used to improve the robustness of the Smith controller. Combining the factor Bang-Bang control and the Smith2searching predict control ,a new beer fermentation temperature control system is suggested in this paper. Simulation shows that this new control algorithm is better than the conventional PID control and is more available for industry application.
