美国对华反倾销与我国出口产品质量——以中间品进口为视角

Abstract

【中文摘要】反倾销作为中国面临的主要国际贸易壁全之一，受到学界的重点关注。基于2000—2014年中国海关进出口数据和全球反倾销数据，可利用双重差分法实证探讨美国对华反倾销对中国制造业出口产品质量的影响及其作用机制。研究发现:美国对华反倾销对中国出口产品质量具有显著的负面影响，该影响在反倾销的立案调查、初裁和终裁阶段均成立。异质性分析进一步表明，反倾销对不同产品属性与企业属性的出口产品质量存在影响差异。机制分析表明，美国对华反倾销可能通过抑制涉案企业的中间品进口规模增长与质量提升，进而导致出口产品质量下降。 【Abstract】 As one of the main international trade barriers confronting China，antidumping has been extensively researched by scholars. Based on China's customs trade data and global antidumping data from 2000 to 2014，this paper empirically studies the impact of US antidumping on China's export product quality and its mechanism. With diference-in-difference estimation，the paper finds that US antidumping exerts a significant negative impact on China's export product quality，which is evident in the stages of antidumping investigation，preliminary determination and final determination. Further analysis reveals the heterogeneity of the impact of antidumping on export product quality in terms of products and enterprises. Mechanism analysis shows that US antidumping is likely to impose negative effects on China's export product quality by restraining the growth of the quantity and quality of intermediate input imports.
