An Analysis of the Plural Connotations of the Nationalization of Chinese Vocal Music

【中文摘要】中国声乐艺术“民族化”历程可大致划分为三个阶段:第一阶段自五四时期开始到中华人民共和国成立前后，为“民族化”美学内涵的初探和发展，其中遭遇了“全盘西化”“文化守成”和“中西结合”思想和观念的交锋和较量，最终确立了中国声乐艺术“民族化” “大众化”的发展道路;第二阶段是在改革开放语境中，中国音乐文化因“全球化” “文化多样性”等因素的介入，声乐艺术“民族化”的探索因此得到进一步深化,其内涵也由此更加多元并富有个性;第三阶段是进入21世纪以来，世界经济文化格局发生深刻改变,中国声乐艺术需要在世界音乐文化格局中审视自身,继续细化和发扬“民族化”的内涵，使中国声乐艺术尽快成为有高度辨识度的艺术形式，从而在世界声乐艺术之林有着话语权和引领作用。 【Abstract】The “nationalization” process of Chinese vocal music can be divided roughly into three stages. The first stage was from the May 4th Movement to the founding of new China. In this period，the preliminary exploration of the aesthetic connotation of “nationalization”，which experienced the contest of the theories of “wholesale Westernization”，“culture conservatism”and“Chinese and Western integration”，finally established the developmental path of “nationalization”and “popularization” of Chinese vocal music. The second stage emerged after the implementation of the reform and opening up policy. With the intervention of factors such as “globalization” and “cultural diversity”，the exploration of “nationalization” of Chinese vocal music was further developed and its connotation was further diversified and individualized. The third stage started at the beginning of the new millennium with the changes of global economic and cultural patterns. With these profound changes，Chinese vocal music needs to be examined in the context of the world's music culture patterns in order to continue refining and enhancing the connotation of a nationalization”.This will enable Chinese vocal music to transform into a highly recognizable art form and become a leading voice in the world of vocal art.
