Abstract

Taiwan's special historical circumstances, the localization of political systemand the education of getting rid of the background of China which is under the lifting of martial law have shaped "Taiwanese" emotion and "Taiwanese consciousness" in the Taiwanese youth generation. This identity of emphasizing on Taiwan and differentiating the Chinese Mainland not only influence the trend of Taiwan politics and social change, but also has become a stumbling block in the process of the cross-straits peaceful reunification."Sunflower student movement"and the rise of the New Power Party are warning us,that we should pay more attention to the issue of cross-strait youth exchange on the basis of improving our own strengths and grasping the initiative in cross-strait relations. Simultaneously, continually focus on exploring the education fusion between the cross-strait and constructing the right identification of Taiwan youth could further reduce the obstacles of the reunification.
