Qunshu was an ancient ethnic group living in Jianghuai region in Pre- Qin China. Qunshu research is an important part of Pre- Qin ethno history of Jianghuai region. Unfortunately, due to the missing and mixed historical records, the study of the important issue about the ethnic origins of Qunshu is difficult to be addressed deeply with the traditional method of the historical bibliography study. In this work, the researches on the regional types of Huai river basin culture are reviewed and it is found that the ethnic Qunshu were mostly locals who consisted of neolithic Huai river basin migrants' progeny.
