汤显祖的《牡丹亭》具有强烈的季节意识，其中提及“春”“秋”等季节之词的章节占总体的80％，“春”“秋”二重唱成为主旋律。《牡丹亭》中的季节不仅仅作为叙事背景被交代，更有机融入了角色的生命意识，是二元对偶的美学呈现、现实与浪漫的重奏、情理之辩的季节意蕴、悲喜剧质的外化彰显。一言以蔽，《牡丹亭》呈现的季节审美与春秋风物，可看作古典文学季节表达的经典范式，值得深入研究。In Tang Xianzu＇s The Peony Pavilion the strong sense of seasons is so obvious that ＂spring＂ and ＂autumn＂ and other seasonal words frequently mentioned in the play, which statistically account for 80% in total, therefore, ＂spring＂ and ＂autumn＂ duet become the main melody. The season in The Peony Pavilion is not only just taken as narrative background but also a part of the life consciousness of the role. It presents dual aesthetic which contains the repetition of reality and romance, embodies the seasonal connotation of emotions and senses, and demonstrates the peculiarity of tragedy and comedy. In a word, the seasonal scenery and aesthetic of The Peony Pavilion can be regarded as a classic seasonal expression in the paradigm of classical literature, which is worthy of further study.
