Indonesian industrialization began from 1945, using the way of East Asian industrial development, and it has formed the developmental direction which focused on the secondary and tertiary industry as well as manufacturing industry, and has become the dominant industry. However, recently, the country faces some challenges such as the manufacturing industry falling behind, the lack of human capital, real wages growing above the industry output, and the gradually losing of advantages of cheap labor power that caused the results of the economic growth declining. This article starts from the analysis of current situation of Indonesian industrialization and the domestic demands that leads to the transformation of industrial structure to predict development measures that could be possibly exited during the process of domestic industrialization dominated by the new government of Indonesia.
