Energy Storage: the Key to Solar PV Future

近年来,中国光伏发电装机容量高速增长,但受"并网难"等影响,弃光现象严重,弃光率逐年上升。"十三五"期间,中国光伏发电发展空间极大,如何解决光伏发电大规模并网应用成为了中国光伏发展的重中之重。在电力市场化改革的背景下,推行可再生能源配额制的条件更为成熟。从长远发展来说,真正能够解决问题的出路在于鼓励分布式发展和就地消纳。而光伏分布式的发展潜力在很大程度上取决于储能技术在量级和成本上的进一步突破。有必要加大对储能技术的扶持力度,将储能设备(特别是电池储能)的技术突破作为一项重点来实施。In recent years,with the rapid growth of the installed capacity of solar PV in China, the rate of idle solar PV capacity has gone up again since the difficulty in connecting all solar power generation to the grid. Solar PV in china have a large space for development during the "13th FiveYear Plan"period. The government's priority is to address the challenge related to the integration of large quantities of solar energy. In line with the country's electric power sector reform, the most cost-effective solution is to implement quotas for renewable energy development. The future of developing solution will enable the development of distributed solar and local consumption. However,large-scale distributed PV will require upgrade in energy storagetechnology and cost reduction. Energy storage technology is looking forward to the strong support at national strategic level.
