Affected by various internal and external factors such as the socioeconomic transformation, deterioration of the political ecology system, distortion of school education, the incitement of media as well as the spread of international left-wing thoughts, most college students in Taiwan are irrationally characterized by negativity and radicalization in their social and politi- cal psychology. On the other hand, the students＇ political efficacy, the consciousness of social fairness and the awareness of po- litical participation are at high level while their perception of social justice is at low level. Meanwhile, they have demonstrated a strong collective anxiety and the tendency of radical political behavior. Moreover, they have also held widespread doubts over the cross-Strait economic and trade cooperation. Therefore, in the face of the new changes, we should work out strategies to shape social and political psychology which is favorable to the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations among Taiwan young students by increasing their benefits and society integration, shaping shared value and norms, strengthening the discourse competence in the cross-Strait issue and attaching more importance to the communication between the early adolescents from mainland and Taiwan.
