A Thought of Art Ignited by Advertising——A Possible Status of Art after the “End" of Art

对于广告是不是艺术,人们一般都很难有统一的看法。广告的商业本质使其与艺术之间存在着一条难以逾越的鸿沟。但是当代艺术已经发生了很大的改变,我们不能再用传统艺术的标准来衡量当代艺术。艺术在走向生活化,走向生活化的艺术应该接纳广告。Whether advertising is a kind of art is a controversial question. The commercial essence of advertising separates itself from art. However, great changes have taken place in contemporary art and the standard for traditional art is no longer applicable to contemporary art. As art is getting more and more closed to life, it should embrace advertising.
