中小学语文教学要根据现代语的要求 ,处理好文言、白话和普通话、方言之间的关系。文言要少而精、易懂 ,且利于沟通传统文化精粹和欣赏艺术创作。白话文是书面语训练的重点 ,应以当代白话为主体 ,适当保留一些 30年代美文和近代白话小说 ;加强非文学性书面语的训练。要充分重视普通话口语的听说训练 ,改变过去只重书面语的弊病。正视方言的存在 ,适当利用 ,排除干扰 ,依据不同方言区的特点确定不同的教材。Chinese teaching in primary school and high school should dispose the relation between classical Chinese, colloquialism, mandarin and dialect in order to meet the demand of current Chinese. Classical Chinese should be extractive, pellucid and propitious to communicate the distillate of traditional culture, enjoy the artistic composition. Colloquialism is the emphasis of teaching in writing language which should include more colloquial articles in current and less in 1930' and before. It is important to intensify the training in extraliterary writing language. We should have high regard for the training in hearing and speaking of mandarin, which was neglected in the past. It is also important to envisage the dialects and properly using them, eliminate disturbing of them. Furthermore, the author emphasizes to compile teaching material depending on the differences between dialects.
