Since the end of the Cold War, due to the growth of regionalism in the world, the rise of the international position of ASEAN and the initative taken by India, economic relations have recovered and developed and further consolidated and upgruded in the new century. The rapid development of the economic relations between India and ASEAN has not only brought changes to India's foreign development strategy, but has also made far-reaching impact on the trend of development of Asia's economic integration.
