Effect of Naphthalene and Pyrene on Hypocotyl Germination and Growth of Mangrove Plant Kandelia candel(L.)Druce

[中文文摘]在实验室条件下,分别以0.1、1和10 mg/L三个浓度的萘和芘培养红树植物秋茄(Kandelia candel(L.)D ruce)幼苗,培养基盐度15,培养期60 d,以不加污染物培养为对照,分析了萘和芘对幼苗萌发和生长的影响.研究结果表明:低浓度萘和芘(0.1 mg/L)对秋茄胚轴萌发没有影响,对幼苗生长甚至有一定的刺激作用.高浓度处理(10 mg/L)则对胚轴第二对叶的展开有明显的抑制作用.高浓度萘处理的幼苗根、茎、叶及总量与对照组相比分别降低了95.2%、89.7%、85.5%和91.6%;高浓度芘处理则分别降低了50.4%,52.9%、73.9%和57.6%.在抑制程度上,萘处理明显大于芘处理.[英文文摘]In this paper, Kandelia candel (L.) Druce hypocotyls were cultivated by sand culture and treated with 15 seaw ater for 60 days in laboratory. The influence of increased concentrations of Napthalene (Nap) and Pyrene (Pyr) ( 0, 0. 1, 1 and 10 m g /L) on hypocotylger mination and growth of mangrove plant was characterized. The hypocotyl germ ination of K. candel was unaffected by 0. 1 mg /L of Nap and Pyr. At concentration of 1 and 10m g /L, Nap showed a significant inhibition on the hypocotyl budding of K. candel, but showed no inhibition on the growth of first pair of leaves. The hypocotyl budding and growth of first pair of leaves were unaffected by 1 and 10 mg /L of Pyr. At concentration of 10 mg /L, both Nap and Pyrproduced a significant inhibition on the growth of second pair of leaves. With the increased concentrations of Nap and Pyr, the root, stem, leaf and to tal biom ass of K. candel seed ling tended to be reduced. The root, stem, leaf and total biomass were reduced by 95. 2%, 89. 7%, 85. 5% and 91. 6% at 10 m g /L of Nap, and reduced by 50. 4%, 52. 9%, 73. 9% and 57. 6% at 10 mg /L of Pyr, respectively. The extent of inhibition by Nap was obviously greater than by Pyr .
