On new species and records of uphysora in Taiwan Strait and its adjacent waters(Cnidaria,Hydrozoa,Hydroidomedusa,Anthomedusae,Capitata,Corymorphidae)

台湾海峡及其邻近海区真囊水母属经研究有 5个新种 :顶室真囊水母 (Eu physoraapiciloculiferasp .nov .)、粗管真囊水母 (Euphysoracrassocanalissp .nov .)、间腺真囊水母 (Euphysorainterogonasp .nov .)、大球真囊水母 (Euphysoramacrobul bussp .nov .)、台湾真囊水母 (Euphysorataiwanensissp .nov .)和我国 2个新记录种 :背轴真囊水母 (EuphysoraabaxialisKramp ,1 96 2 )、疣真囊水母 (EuphysoraverrucosaBouillon ,1 978) .对此予以详细的描述报道 ,模式标本保存于厦门大学海洋系Through survey of Euphysora from Minnan Taiwan Shoal fishing ground upwelling region ,Luoyuan Bay and varied islands waters of Fujian ,Datan Bay of Hong Kong and the Bohai Sea since 1985 , Five new species of Euphysora were found, i.e., Euphysora apiciloculifera sp.nov., Euphysora interogona sp.nov., Euphysora macrobulbus sp.nov., Euphysora crassocanalis sp.nov., Euphysora taiwanensis sp.nov.,and two new records in China seas, i.e., Euphysora abaxialis Kramp ,1962 and Euphysora verrucosa Bouillon,1978. All type specimens are deposited in the Department of Oceanography, Xiamen University.Specific characters of new species1. Euphysora apiciloculifera sp.nov.(Fig.1)This new species with red brown pigment in oval apical chamber;Stomach very large, almost entirely filling the bell cavity.The base of principal tentacle swollen in the inner side, nearly spherical; three other marginal bulbs, the one opposite to the main tentacle larger than the two others.These features differs from the other species.2. Euphysora crassocanalis sp.nov.(Fig.2)It apperars that the new species differs from the other species as follows: Four radial canals thick and broad,with vacuolated endodermal cells in radial canals. Principal tentacle unbranched. Three other tentacles, base short. conical, all tentacle bulbs alike ; without filiform tentacle.3. Euphysora interogona sp.nov. (Fig.3)This new species with gonads on interradial side of stomach is similar to Euphysora furcata Kramp 1948,but their distinguishing characters are: E. furcata : Principal tentacle in terminal part twice bifurcated; opposite to this a fairly long ,filiform tentacale. E. interogona : Principal tentacle very long ,with over 60 knobs of nematocysts in one row along the abaxial side.Three other marginal bulbs rudimentary ,very small, all alike ,without filiform tentacles.4. Euphysora macrobulbus sp.nov.(Fig.4)This new species differs from other species as follows: exumbrella surface smoth; without apical projection; principal tentacle with a large, nearly oval bulb and 3～6 very small, spherical, lateral knobs of nematocyst, abaxial position, and a very large,nearly oval terminal knob of nematocyst; opposite this a very small,nearly papilla tike bulb,without filiform tentacle ,other two lateral with longer, cone shaped bulb, with filiform tentacles.5. Euphysora taiwanensis sp.nov.(Fig.5)This new species with moniliform principal tentacle is similar to Euphysora gracilis (Brooks,1882), E. annulata (Kramp 1927), E. russelli and E. solidonema , but their distinguishing characters are: E. gracilis : Moniliform principal tentacle with a number of prominent swelling knobs in irregular intervals, and a large terminal knob. E. annulata : Moniliform principal tentacle with rings of nematocysts, without large terminal knob;the opposite one longer than other two lateral tentacles; all tentacle bublbs not extending to both lateral side. E. solidonema : Moniliform principal tentacle with ring of nematocysts,with a large spherical terminal knob of nematocyst;the opposite one a rudimentary, other two lateral tentacles cone shaped; all tentacle bulbs extending to both lateral sides. E.russelli : Moniliform principal tentacle with 9 spherical nematocyst knobs.Opposite to this a rudimentary, bulb shaped tentacle, other two lateral tentacles long, filiform. E. taiwanensis : Moniliform principal tentacle with over 16 nearly elliptic like nematocyst knobs. Other bulbs of three rudimentary tentacles and bulb of principal tentacle, all alike, without filiform tentacle.
