Characteristic Analysis on the Gender Difference Education in the Single-sex School in China from the View of Modernization
【中文摘要】进入21世纪，教育现代化包括教育的民主性、公平性、个性性和创造性等等得到了普遍的关注，教育机会的平等不再被解释为给予所有儿童以相同的教育，而是以多样化满足儿童的不同需求，追求“有差异的平等”。在这种背景下，男女平等教育基础上的性别差异教育越来越受到人们的关注。在中断单性别学校教育30年后，中国大陆90年代在中等教育领域小范围内试验的性别差异教育实践和研究不断伴随社会争议，其注重挖掘性别潜力、 将国际化理念与本土教育实际相结合的办学实践以鲜明的特点为我们的个性化、特色化教育积累了一定的经验，也因其以女校为主、以城市学校为主以及过于鲜明的本土女性特色课 程加剧了社会的误解。展望未来，我们应加强研究和宣传，将科学的性别差异教育纳入现代化教育体系中。 【Abstract】Entering the 21st century,Education modernization includes democracy， fairness of education, personality and creativity have been widespread concerned, the equality of educational opportunity no longer be interpreted as to give all children the same education,but as the diversification to meet the different needs of children,and the pursuit of “equality of difference”.In this context,gender differences in education based on gender equality education has been paid more and more attention. After single-sex schooling interrupted 30 years later,with the social controversy,the Chinese educational communities in the 1990's carried out a small scale test in secondary education of gender differences education in practice and research field，which focused on tapping the potential of sex, combining the concept of internationalization and local education reality, accumulated rich experience of personalized education. As the schools were mainly for girls and mainly in urban, along with too obvious local feminine curriculum exacerbated social misunderstanding and social misconceptions. Looking to the future, we should strengthen the study and propaganda,include the gender differences in education into the scientific modern education system.
