dc.description.abstracthepatitis patient's sera were detected by HEV-87A antigen (inactivated cultue virus)EIA KIT.82 of them were anti-HEV.IgM positive by Diagnostic Biotechnology (Pte)Ltd (DBL)EIA kit; 90 of them were anti--HEV IgM positive and 88 were anti-HEV IgG positive by HEV-87A EIA kit.5 negative sera detected by DBL kit were neutralized by HEV87A antigen.4 of 5 could be neutralized, 1 of the 5 sera could not be neutralized.The results show that our EIA kit is more sensitive and speciFic.Among early patients with hepatitis E, the determination of anti-HEV IgM is better than that of anti-HEV IgG and it was discovered that patients with hepatitis E are co-inFectous with hepatitis A,B,C,D virus some times.
