Persistent Organochlorine Pollutant s in Surface Sediment s and Suspended Particulate Matter of Zhujiang River Estuary

[摘要]：为探讨我国最大的河口湾珠江口中持久性有机氯的残留水平与分布,1996 年7 月和1997 年3 月在珠江 口分别进行了两个航次的现场调查,从布设的十多个站位采集了表层沉积物和悬浮颗粒物样品. 样品经冷冻干燥、 萃取浓缩和净化分离后,用GC 法分析其有机氯农药六六六(HCH) 和滴滴涕(DDT) 以及多氯联苯( PCBs) 的含量. 结 果表明:表层沉积物中HCHs、PCBs 和DDTs 的浓度范围分别为0. 28～1. 23 ,0. 18～1. 82 和1. 36～8. 99 ng/ g (干 重) ,与其他河口相比,珠江口沉积物的有机氯含量较低. 悬浮颗粒物中有机氯的含量随不同采样站位和季节而异, 但平均含量高于沉积物. 本文基于两个航次的调研,综合报道了这些有机氯化合物在研究海域中的含量和组成分 布,并对其残留水平与污染状况及来源等作了探讨.[Abstract]:The Zhujiang River estuary is the largest estuary bay in our count ry ,and considered to be an impor2 tant source of pollutant s to South China Sea. Two surveys of the Zhujiang River Estuary were carried out in J uly 1996 and in March 1997 ,respectively in order to extensively study the residue levels and dist ributions of persis2 tent organochlorine pollutant s in the Estuary. Samples of surface sediment and suspended particulate matter (SPM) were collected at more than 10 stations during two cruises , then f reeze2dried ,ext racted ,concent rated , cleaned up and f ractionated ,at last analyzed for organochlorine pesticides ( hexachlorocyclohexane ( HCH) and DDT) and polychorinated biphenyls (PCBs) by GC. Concent ration ranges of HCHs ,PCBs and DDTs in the sur2 face sediment s were 0. 28～1. 23 ,0. 18～1. 82 and 1. 36～8. 99 ng/ g (dry mass) ,respectively ,which were low as compared with some other estuaries. The result s showed that concent rations of the organochlorines in the SPM varied both with the sampling locations and seasons ,the mean concent rations were higher than those in the sedi2 ment s. This paper present s the result s of the comprehensive survey of PCBs ,HCHs and DDTs in sediment s and suspended particulate matter (SPM) of the Zhujiang River estuary on the basis of the investigations of two cruis2 es ,and discusses the concent ration and composition dist ributions ,residue levels and contamination status ,and the source of these organochlorine compounds in the Zhujiang River estuary.
