Abstract
通过对21名在美国获得博士学位或有较长访学经历的厦门大学教师进行深入访谈,发现中美两国学术型博士生培养模式存在较大的差异。借鉴美国模式,我国学术型博士生教育中应注重多元的选拔方式,实行主辅修结合的跨学科课程修读制度,明确导师的角色与责任,严格资格考试,保障培养质量。
 
Based on in-depth interviews of twenty-one teachers of Xiamen University who received their doctor's degree or spent a long period of time studying in the United States,it is found that there are many differences between academically-focused doctoral programs in China and the United States.We may learn from the American experience and improve our doctoral training with more flexible student selection,combination of major and minor fields of interdisciplinary study,clear definition of supervisor roles and responsibilities,strict qualification examinations,and effective quality assurance.
