Academic freedom is relative. There is no such thing called "absolute academic freedom", and to a large extent, it is the surmise of researchers.Social adaptability is inevitable to academic development, and it will not necessarily impede academic development which needs support from society.Active adaptability is the basis for academic freedom and social adaptability to keep certain tension, and it is the meaning of "two rules".So, the conclusion "College should return back to cognitive rationality" which derived by professor Zhan and Chen in the article is groundless.
