英国建设高等教育强国之启示——基于1995年以来高等教育相关数据的分析

Abstract

英国作为老牌的高等教育强国,一直在高等教育改革上不断探索。尤其是自1995年高等教育进入普及化阶段以来,英国高等教育取得了显著的成绩,这为我国建设高等教育强国提供了有益的借鉴。文章从高校、学生、教师、经费等方面,分析了英国高等教育普及化阶段的发展情况,并指出,高等教育强国既是一个规模的概念,也是一个质量的概念。

As an old powerful nation in higher education,Britain has been constantly exploring the reform of higher education.Especially since 1995 higher education in Britain entered the stage of popularization,it has achieved remarkable results,which provided beneficial reference for our country to construct powerful nation in higher education.This article analyzes the development of higher education of Britain in the stage of popularization from the aspects of colleges and universities,students,teachers,and funds,etc.And it points out that the powerful nation in higher education is a concept of scale as well as a concept of quality.
