科举考试与汉字文化——兼析进士科一枝独秀的原因

Abstract

科举考试以汉字为主要载体,深受汉字文化影响。科举考试的汉字文化特征主要表现在考试科目、取士标准、考试文体和考试影响四方面。科举制度具有平民精神,它对于中国古代汉字教育的规范化与普及化、古代诗赋与音韵学的发展以及书画艺术的演变,均产生直接而重大的影响。进士科长期延续、一枝独秀,是与汉字文化的观念、特点、内容及功能密切相关的。

As the main carrier of the imperial examination,Chinese character culture deeply affected the imperial examination.The Chinese cultural characteristics of the imperial examination were mainly manifested in four areas: test subjects,admission standard,exam style and exam impact.The imperial examination was blessed with the equal spirit of the civilian.It had a direct and significant impact on the standardization and popularization of ancient Chinese character education,the development of ancient poetry and rhapsody as well as the evolution of painting and calligraphy art.Chin-shih could last long and outshine others because it was closely related to the concept,characteristics,content and function of Chinese character culture.
