Electrochemical Preparation For Bioactive Ceramics Coating on Ti-6Al-4V Substrate
Abstract
An electrodeposition technique was developed For Fabricating bioactive hydroxyap-atite(HA) coating on Ti-6Al-4V alloy at relative low temperature.XRD, SEM and ICP/AES were used to characterize the structure, morphology and chemical composition of the coatings.The galvanostatic electrodeposted HA coating is of 1.62 Ca/P molar ratio and has a uniForm and porous structure, which is similar with the structure and composition of hu-man bone.The reaction mechanism and inFluence of experimental conditions on HA coatings are also discussed.
